Triad Financial Services Inc. announced the
hiring of Seth Deyo to the newly created position of chief financial officer. Ross Eckhardt has
been promoted to executive vice president and appointed to Triad's board of directors. Darrell
Boyd has been hired as regional manager for the state of Kentucky. Triad also announced
the appointment of Bob Borne to the position of regional manager for Louisiana. Triad also
has purchased the assets of St. Paul, Minn.-based Diamond Lenders Group, known for its expertise
in manufactured home real estate mortgage loans. Triad will integrate Diamond into its operations
as Triad Financial Services Mortgage Division. Style Crest Products Inc. announced the promotion of Pam Arnett to distribution manager of its Louisville , Ky. facility. The Minnesota Manufactured Housing Association elected Dennis Moore of Redwood Falls, Minn., to its Hall of Fame, at the association's 49th Annual Meeting. The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration has designated Patrick Smeller as international trade specialist for the manufactured housing industry. Smeller will be part of the Forest Products & Building Materials Division, which is responsible for export promotion and international trade policies in the lumber, paper and building products industries. Elixir Industries, based in Gardena, Calif., announced the launching of its new Web site, www.elixirind.com. Dynex Financial Inc./Origen expanded into several new states and territories and created three new district sales manager positions. The managers will cover the following markets: Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Mississippi, Illinois, Iowa and Texas. In addition, several Dynex district sales managers received Most Valuable Player Awards: Sherri Woolum; Ryan Foxx; and Jeff Mouat. Top Volume Producer awards were presented to Patty Capes; Wylie Nowman; and Hardy Purvis. Purvis was also recognized as the District Sales Manager of the Year, and the West Region was named Region of the Year. The Propane Education and Research Council addressed the National Manufactured Housing Congress and introduced "Get Real," the propane industry's national program aimed at expanding propane use in manufactured housing.
